Song of a Ships Ghost comes from the ideas of ghost ships. Vessels abandoned and lost at sea... some we know why, others appear without clue as to what happened to them. Many still float, some grounded others sit on the sea bed.

The stories of fragmented distress calls, wafting over the airwaves, sometimes giving a terrifying insight to the what happened on board other times just adding to the mystery. The thought of turning the dial and tuning into such a call started the ideas for this album.

Exploration of a lost vessel, meandering around the soupy fog, floating on the borders of life and death, real and imagined. The relentlessness of the sea, the vast chasm of space above and below the horizon swallows us whole and leaves no trace.
